Protection and Advocacy for Assistive Technology
Assistive Technology Act of 1998 as amended
The PAAT Program is supported by the Administration for Community Living (ACL) and focuses on consumer advocacy and capacity-building through the OPAD P&A Agency. This program provides essential advocacy services to assist individuals of all ages with disabilities in the acquisition, utilization or maintenance of assistive technology services or devices.
Aiming to ensure that individuals with disabilities have access to necessary technology to improve their daily lives and participate fully in their communities.
