How can we help?

The Representative Payee Program helps protect Social Security beneficiaries who are unable to independently manage their financial benefits. OPAD advocates for beneficiaries by addressing concerns involving misuse of funds, neglect, exploitation, or financial abuse by representative payees.

We advocate for your financial safety

  • Services may include:
    • Information regarding beneficiary rights
    • Assistance with complaints involving misuse of benefits
    • Advocacy to ensure funds are used in the beneficiary’s best interest
    • Referrals to appropriate agencies and resources
    • Education and outreach regarding representative payee responsibilities
