How HAVA helps you

The Help America Vote Act (HAVA) Program works to ensure that individuals with disabilities have equal access to the voting process. OPAD advocates for accessible polling locations, voter education, and equal participation in local and federal elections.

Voting is everyone's right!

  • The HAVA Program focuses on:
    • Promoting accessible voting equipment and polling locations
    • Educating voters with disabilities about their rights
    • Monitoring barriers to voting accessibility
    • Conducting outreach and community awareness
